How can I decorate a Christmas stocking for a 10 month old girl? She's my granddaughter.

She's 10 months old...you could cover it in cotton balls and she will think it is the best thing EVER because it came from her grammy. Don't stress about the small stuff.

When my boy was young, I went & bought an Xmas stocking (red & white) & also got red felt & cut out his name & glued it onto the white top of the stocking. He loved it because it was personalized.

I made my sons' stockings the year they were born. I took red felt and made a large stocking. Just cut out two pieces in the shape of a stocking and sewed them together and turned inside out and I'm not a seamstress by any means. Then I went to the fabric section and bought fabric with bears on it, I love bears. I cut them out and sewed, by hand, most of it on the stocking, then stuffed the small bear fabric and finished sewing them up, very cute. Then I took white felt and made the top of the stocking. Got about 4 inches and folded over and sewed it together and stuffed it then sewed it to the rest of the stocking.
Good luck!!
