Strawberry Preserves

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 4 cups sugar

Directions:

Boil berries and vinegar for 3 minutes. Add sugar and boil 10 minutes. Pour into jelly glasses. Seal with paraffin.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups strawberries
  • boiling water
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

Wash strawberries and remove stems. Pour boiling water over berries and drain off at once. Add sugar and lemon juice to berries. Boil 10 minutes. Pour out in flat containers; let stand 24 hours to thicken. Stir often. Pour into sterilized jars.
