Controlling Spanish Moss

I need a homemade recipe for spanish moss invader. How can I control it?

I read a suggestion here at thrifty that spraying baking soda on the trees would save the tree and kill the moss. You could use an attachemnt that goes on your garden hose for lawn fertilizing or bug spray. Good luck...
