Stains On Plywood Cupboard Shelves

My cupboard bottom made of plywood has got stains. I guess they are fruit stains, a little red in color. Kindly advice me how I can get rid of them. I am in great need of your advice as soon as you can.

I would just paint the shelves and not try to get the stains out.
