Children love nothing more than to make a mess, even more so when icing and sprinkles are involved. This idea incorporates both a craft and a snack. It's also easy to transport if the party is somewhere other than your home.
Make Halloween cut-out cookies using a simple sugar cookie recipe.
Place a variety of sprinkles into large muffin tin liners, one for each child.
Halloween printed napkins, cups and paper plates can be found at your local Dollar store during the holiday season.
Give each child a place setting: Paper plate, napkin, plastic knife/spoon to spread the icing and a muffin liner with sprinkles. Icing can be placed in small dixie cups and transported in cupcake pans.
You can give each child one large cookie or two smaller ones. The total cost of this party idea should fall around the $15 mark for 10-12 children.
