My brother and I had plans to take my mother back to her home town in Canada and spend a week or more. With the ridiculous gasoline prices we will probably go for just a few days. We feel obligated to go because mom has been asking us for several years if we would take her back 'one last time'. We always enjoy our time in Canada, but this time it may be much shorter.
Yep! We've cancelled our annual family trip to Cedar Point, about 8 hours from our home. Instead we all got together this winter at a local Indoor waterpark resort and had a blast!
