No More Fishy Hands

To remove the odor of raw fish from your hands, squeeze a wedge of fresh lemon into your hands, rub your hands with the juice, and rinse them well

Your post reminds me of a movie (Crossing Delaney ?). The lead male character did just what you suggested. He was a fish salesman; however, when not working, his hands never smelled like fish. He used lemons. Great romantic movie!

Tip: No More Fishy Hands

Get your hands wet and then rub salt on them before handling fish. It will make the fish easier to grip and will diminish the fish odor on them. When you are done rub your hands with lemon juice and then wash them with soap and water.

Vinegar removes fish odour. When cooking, frying or baking add a drop of vinegar to get rid of the odour. (04/05/2010)
