A family member went to the Dr. for a natural laxative. The Dr. said to eat a whole kiwi (peeling and all) every day. Not only would he be getting his fiber, but Vitamin C and potassium, as well as many other nutrients.
I try to eat a whole kiwi every day, and yes it really helps keep me regular. Because the skin can be difficult to eat, I usually make a smoothie for breakfast and throw my kiwi in. It does a good job of chopping up the skin and tastes great with any fruit mixture.
