Find a bowl in a size you're looking for to use as a mold. Cover in plastic wrap and paper mache. When the mache is completly dry, use craft knift to cut off of mold, then cover cut with more mache. Once dry, you can paint, but DO NOT use for food consumption. This technique is for decoration only.

I'd be VERY cautious about using bowls for food since the dark/glossy inks may still be poison! If you are talking about paper mache', there are MANY
sites that describe all about how to use it. Good luck with your ideas. If you still pursue it, perhaps it's safe when sprayed with polyurethane? : )
