Easy Danish Apple Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 cans (20 oz. ea.) apple pie filling*
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions

In a 9x13-inch pan, mix flour, butter and sugar. When well mixed, pat in bottom of pan. Spread pie filling over crust. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes. Mix pudding with milk; spread over hot dessert. Cool. Frost with Cool Whip and refrigerate. Nuts may be sprinkled on top.

Note: Can substitute another pie filling such as cherry, blueberry, etc.

Connie, Usually your recipes are so clear I just love to start them, but this time you baffled me. Do you melt the butter or use it at room temp or cold and the dough is like pellets????? Please send me an email at shaywood_58@hotmail.com. I want to make it this weekend. Sounds so good!! Thanks.
