Cinnamon Pudding
Ingredients
Batter:
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
Sauce:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. maple flavoring (opt.)
Directions
Put all batter ingredients in mixing bowl and beat well. Spread over bottom of a glass 9x13 inch baking dish. It will be fairly thin. Make the following sauce:
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in saucepan. Add water, butter and maple flavoring, if used. Bring to a boil and pour evenly over batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes. Cut into squares and serve white warm with whipped topping or ice cream. Yield: 8 or more servings. If desired, 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts can be added to batter before baking.

How much water do you put in the sauce?

Recipe directions call for water to be added to the sauce pan with the brown sugar and cinnamon but it doesn't say how much water to add?
