Use Parasol in Summer

I am really enjoying my parasol(s) this summer! Even with a hat and sunglasses, it's much nicer to have one's own shade at an outdoor party or event. And there are a lot of inexpensive options out there.

I just ordered myself one as I'm traveling to Texas in a month and this will keep the sun off of me.
Thanks for the suggestion. I couldn't really find one here in Ct so I ordered one from Amazon.

Being from the U.P. we seldom have use for this idea but this past Saturday at an outdoor wedding on a lake this would have been a wonderful idea.

Glad I am not the only one with a parasol. I use a small, colorful childs umbrella so I don't poke other people.
Otherwise I use a small sun umbrella that you can clip on a chair.
It makes such a difference in this southern USA heat.

It is like an umbrella. In fact some use an umbrella as a parasol. Keeps the sun off your head and face.
