Creamy Carrots With Bacon
One of my favorites.
- 4 slices bacon, fried crisp
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cup milk
- 1 cup diced cheese
- 3 cup cooked carrots
Make gravy with 2 tablespoons fat (shortening, not bacon grease), flour, milk, and onion and then add cheese (melt) and add crumbled bacon. Pour over carrots. Yummy!
