I need to get out a zinc oxide (white salve) stain from my couch cushion. I am so upset because its a brand new couch. Any and all help is appreciated.

RE: Zinc Oxide Stain

I had a bad stain on my carpet of zinc oxide diaper cream. First I used corn starch to soak up the oiliness. Be generous and then let it sit there for a day or so to do it's job. Vacuum well. Repeat if it still looks greasy. After that use a spot cleaner suited for your fabric. (04/23/2007)
