How do I kill the Cayratia japonica vine that is taking over my garden? It is related to the Virginia Creeper, but is very invasive and regular weed killers act as vitamins for it.

Hardiness Zone: 10a

Green Light's Cut vine and stump killer works great. It will even kill the small live oak sprouts that grow around all the trees. Cut the vine off and douse the cut end with the liquid stump killer. It will go right down to the roots.

You can use Brush B Gon (triclopyr) using the cut stem treatment as described here:
