Bugs Eating My Collards

Several unidentifiable 'somethings' were crawling up the stems of my collards and there were a number of holes in the leaves. I made sure the leaves weren't touching the ground. What to do now? This is an organic garden.

Hardiness Zone: 8a

Thanks,
Holly from Richardson, TX

Ladybugv2: I'll try the sand around my collards and brussell sprouts and post my results in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the tip. I also want to try what Denise suggested, old coffee grounds.

I also have an organic garden and I use old coffee grounds along with chives and basil to keep pests away.
