Christmas: Granny Square Ornaments

I once saw a tree decorated only with little white lights and granny squares. Believe it or not, it was great. The squares were later joined to form an afghan, but the family admired them one last time on the tree. Also some vintage napkins rings can be used on a tree with a simple pass of ribbon on hold them on.
