I work at a convenience store where we have a bakery case. We have fresh donuts brought in every day, and every day they end up in the garbage because of gnats. We clean the case every day. Please HELP! What can we do to eliminate those pesky gnats? Thank you.

Pam

Set a bowl of sugar water or a bowl with some honey in it and see if this will attract them in a different area. Hang sticky paper or fly strips nearby or right over these bowls.

Hi Pam,
These are probably fruit flies. They breed very quickly. Here's a link about fruit flies, preventing them and getting rid of them. You might want to set a trap like described in the link, inside the case each night.
