Every time you have errands to run or a doctors appointment. MAKE A COMPLETE LIST. Or I promise you'll forget something. Especially questions you may have for the doctor. Keep a list of all your surgeries, medications, and any questions. (There is no such thing as a stupid question). I can't tell you how important this is. Even a grocery list is a real money saver.

One tip that has helped me (especially when my children were infants) is, I would take and write down in my planner on the appointment pages each stop I had to make and I would use that as a guide as to where I was going next. My errands would be lined up farthest away and the $ the bill was for, on down to the closest to home.
