Ingredients
- 2 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cream style corn
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup bacon grease
- milk
Directions
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Add enough milk to make the mixture pour easily. Place in greased muffin tins. Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven until golden brown, about 20-30 minutes. Serve with butter and pure cane syrup.
