Hungarian Sausage Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 pound fully cooked smoked sausage, cut into thin slices
- 1 bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup catsup
- cooked white rice
Directions
Put all ingredients, except rice, in a large skillet. Mix. Cook over medium heat until mixture is bubbling around the edges. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes. Serve over rice.
Yield: 4-6 servings.
Hungarian Sausage Skillet (Another Way)
Ingredients
- 1 pound fully cooked smoked sausage, cut into thin slices
- 1 bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 6 eggs, beaten
Directions
Put all ingredients in a large skillet. Mix. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until eggs are set.
Yield: 4-6 servings.
