I'm trying to remove a margarine stain from a painted wall. Soap and water didn't do the trick, and if I rub it too hard, the paint starts to come off. Any suggestions besides painting over it?

Try using baby powder--it always absords grease stains--even on your clothes

try using blotting paper(or maybe brown paper bag) that is absorbent. Place over stains. Using a warm iron (unplugged, of course) hold it on the stain. It has worked for me on fabric, paper, etc. so should work on your wall as well. Good luck!
