Sauce For Marinated Steak
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
Directions
Cut steak in small pieces and tenderize by poking with a fork in meat and marinate overnight or 3-4 hours before grilling.

Variations
Marinated Steak Sauce
This is a great steak sauce recipe. According to the recipe, it actually won 2nd place at the Iowa State Fair in 1976.
Ingredients:
- 2 small bottles soy sauce
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 2 pieces ginger root or 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Marinate 1-2 hours. Pour over your choice of steak.
