RE: Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup margerine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease pans. Cream margarine with sugars, mix in eggs and vanilla. In another container, combine flour, salt and soda. Add to sugar/egg mixture slowly and mix well. Add chocolate chips (1 to 2 cups) and drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Leave room, they'll spread. Bake for 8-11 mins., until the edges are brown. Cool on the pan for 1 min., then transfer to a cooling rack. ENJOY! (10/19/2005)

  • 3/8 cup brown sugar
  • 3/8 cup granulated sugar

Bake 20 minutes in 350 degrees F oven. Makes 3 dozen cookies. (The amounts of brown sugar and granulated sugar are not typos. 3/8 is what is called for.)
