You can use a skateboard as an abdominal wheel holding the center of the board while on your knees, then gently roll forward keeping your back straight. Do 5-15 reps a few times a day and your abs will be fab!

Moving heavy planters full of soil around a flat verandah/patio - you need 2 people to balance them if an awkward shape or if you're going down steps.

Laundry cart - keep a basket atop a skateboard directly below the chute. When you're ready to do the laundry, simply roll the load over to the washer.
