Recipe for Pork Roast

Does anyone have a recipe for roast pork. I like it crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. Mine always comes out sort of dry. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
P.J. from Delaware

Flavoring Dishes With Butter

I'd like to flavor a fried cabbage and onions dish with butter, but do the actual cooking with olive oil. How little butter can I use at the very end and still give it some flavor? Any opinions?

Thanks!
Holly from Richardson, TX

Chicken Spaghetti With Velveeta Cheese

Whenever you make chicken spaghetti, and the last thing you add to the dish is the velveeta cheese, just cut the cheese in cubes and stir in chicken spaghetti, and turn the pot off. It will be hot enough that the cheese will melt, and all you have to do is stir. This way it will not scorch.

By Gail Crawford

Chicken Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 2-3 chicken breasts
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 8 ozs. Velveeta cheese spread
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes and peppers
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

Boil chicken. Remove from broth. Tear apart chicken when cool. Boil spaghetti as package directions and drain. Saute chopped onion and bell pepper with margarine. Mix Rotel and soup. Add spaghetti and chicken, along with onion mixture. Add cheese and heat on low till cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 envelope (1 ounce) onion soup mix
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces)tomato soup (with water)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
  • 1 can (7 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (16 ounces) sliced carrots, drained
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas, thawed
  • 5 cups warm seasoned mashed potatoes
  • Paprika, for sprinkling

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 2-quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat until beef is brown and onion is tender, stirring occasionally; drain if necessary. Add soup mix, gravy, garlic powder, and black pepper; mix well. Add corn, carrots, and peas; mix well. Place in the casserole dish.

Spoon mashed potatoes around the edge of the casserole on top of the meat mixture. Run the tines of a fork around the mashed potatoes in a decorative fashion and sprinkle with paprika. Bake 25 minutes, or until heated through

Microwave: Just prepare like the recipe says then cook in covered casserole in microwave on high until bubbly, mine takes about 20 mins but it's a really old oven
