Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups apples, peeled and cut
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal

Directions:

Butter pan. Lay apples in pan. Mix remaining ingredients together and cover apples with it. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

Another family favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:

Place apples in 9x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix all the rest of ingredients together, and put on top of the apples. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes.

Servings: 6-8
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes

Does anyone have an apple crisp recipe that they just LOVE? This is one dish that I crave, but can't seem to make well.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, pared and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Divide the apple slices between 2 custard cups, sprinkle water over apple slice. Mix flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake uncovered until the topping is light golden brown and apples are tender, about 20-35 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut apple slices crosswise in half. Place in greased 9 inch square baking pan; sprinkle with dry cake mix.


Peel and slice apples into a buttered baking dish. Add 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 cup water. Blend together butter, 1/2 cup sugar and flour until crumbly.


Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Place apples in ungreased 2 qt. baking dish.


Put layer of apples, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon mixed together. Repeat till all is used.


Mix together. Layer with apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Sprinkle with a little lemon juice to bring out flavor of apples.


Use enough apples peeled and cut up to fill a 9x13 inch baking dish. Put shortening on top and then sprinkle cinnamon over top.


Spread apples in an ungreased 8 inch pan. Mix the remaining ingredients w/fork and sprinkle over apples.


Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Place apples in lightly greased 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch square pan.


Combine apples, lemon juice and white sugar in an 8x8 inch baking dish. Microwave for 2 minutes at high. Combine remaining ingredients until crumbly.


Mix first 5 ingredients and put in 9 inch pan. Make topping mixture and crumble over apple mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F (preheated).


Pour the sweetened apples into 8 inch square pan. Mix all other ingredients together and pour over apples.


Mix first 4 ingredients together and add to apples and mix. Put in a greased 9x13 inch pan and top with topping.


Mix together flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and egg. The mixture will look like cornmeal. Peel, core, and slice the apples.


In large bowl combine apples, raisins, sugar, cinnamon and 1 Tbsp.flour. Stir well to coat the apples with the dry ingredients.


Arrange apples in greased 2 qt. glass dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix remaining ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over apples.


Combine apples, flour and sugar; place in greased baking dish (8x8 inches). Combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the top of the apple mixture.


Peel and thinly slice apples and place in pan 8 inches or larger. I generally grease the pan lightly first.


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish. Arrange apples in the pan. In a medium-sized bowl, mix remaining ingredients with a fork.
