I use vegetable oil in my bread machine recipes instead of margarine. The taste and texture is much better. I use 1/4 cup oil for a 1-1/2 lb loaf.

Marilyn,
Off the subject. We come to Destin almost every year for the last 12 yrs or so. It is getting so expensive just for accommodations on the beach. We are going to have to find another beach. Do you know of any place that is often more reasonable than most there? I hate having to give Destin up since it is so beautiful there. Thanks Dedepayne @ yahoo.com
