Draining Fatty Meats |

Instead of using a lot of paper towels when draining fatty meats, like bacon and sausage, place a single layer of paper towel on a folded section of newspaper.

Oh i like that.... and the newspaper is just setting there anyways. I have used coffee filters in a colander before. It worked really well. Set the colander on a plate to catch any extra that ran thru.
