"There are five cleaning products you should never be without," says the Queen, "and most of them are things you already have in your home." What are they? White vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice, club soda, and Spot Shot Instant Carpet Stain Remover (her favorite brand). With these simple items, you can clean and deodorize nearly every room in your home, thereby saving money on expensive store-bought cleaners and reducing the amounts of chemicals in your home. Did you burn a casserole? Fill the dish with hot water, one tablespoon of baking soda, and soak. Try cleaning brass and copper with half a lemon sprinkled with salt. It should shine right up (and smell good, too)."

I live in Arizona and have watched Linda many times. Years ago, she used to have great hints but now she is just a mini-informercial on products that she plugs.

I have a fancy, embroidered table cloth (green and red holly berries, etc) and it has many set-in yellow stains. It has been dry cleaned numerous times. Any suggestions on how to get rid of or lighten these yellow stains? Thanks.

I accidently burned up a plastic bowl inside my oven. How do I clean out the plastic? It is an older gas oven. The plastic is on the rack and down in the bottom of the oven.

We bought your book and it has helped us on many issues. One recent challenge for us was with our son taking a red wax candle and rubbed it up against our white utensil drawer. We cleaned it with WD 40 and a cleaner but a pink "smear" remains. Any ideas on how to get it clean??

I woke up this morning to my son wearing no diaper and my bed soaking wet. I have been able to wash my sheets but apparently it leaked to my mattress and I am not able to get it out any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
