Have Your Kids Make a Meal: Pull-A-Part Pizza |
Let's face it... there is never enough time in a day to get things done we'd like to, but one way to share time with kids is to pick ONE night a week that THEY have to make the meal. It teaches them to plan ahead, get familiar with items in the kitchen, teaches them to be responsible, and it's great when mom or dad give them a great big smile at the dinner table. Teaching them to read a cookbook is not a bad idea either.
Pull-a-part pizza is a good starter... Cut biscuit dough into bite size pieces, place into greased baking pan. Spread pizza sauce and cheese on top (extra toppings if desired) bake at 350F till cheese is bubbly, then cool on a platter. To eat... everyone just pulls it apart.
