Ingredients

  • 3 boiled hot dogs, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped pickle
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Dash of salt

Directions

Mix all ingredients together. Hollow out the center of a bun, pack with filling, and put top back on. Wrap each bun in foil. Place on cookie sheet and bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 20 minutes. Kids love these!

At our home, we call these tuna burgers. Use prepared tuna salad. Add chopped or grated cheese, and diced onion.

We don't carve out the bun.

Wrap in foil, and toss in the oven. Yum-yum-yum.

Big boys like them, too.

O.
