I mix my dog's pills in cream cheese and haven't had him spit it out once. I know for a fact that this works really well.

I give my cat, Rachel, a couple teaspoons of cream cheese a day to keep her from having fur ball issues so I am sure she would accept a pill coated with it ;-)
Just be careful with the cream cheese. It can have a high fat content and can cause vomiting and diarrhea, or worse, pancreatitis, in severe cases.
I cannot wait to try that next time! Especially if I have to crush a pill for them! What a great idea!
Take care with too much cheese - some dogs can get ill with this. Try a little honey or crush the tablet, mix with a little water then suck it up into a special animal syringe and squirt directly into the mouth.
