I make a super simple one and everyone loves it:
1 pkge cream cheese
1 can Underwood deviled Chicken
Shredded COjack ( or cheddar) cheese
Crushed walnuts(optional)
combine 1st three well in bowl and roll in nuts.

PINEAPPLE CHEESE BALL

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper, or mixture of green and red bell pepper
3 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
2 teaspoons seasoned salt, or to taste
2 cups chopped pecans, divided

FRUITY CHEESE BALL:

1 (8oz) Cream Cheese (softened)
1 small jar Marchino Cherries (NO STEMS)
1 small can crushed (DRAINED) pineapple

MIX WELL. SHAPE INTO BALL. REFRIGERATE A COUPLE HOURS AND SERVE WITH CLUB CRACKERS.

THIS WILL BE A LIGHT PINK COLOR.

YOU CAN ALSO ROLL INTO CHOPPED NUTS OF YOUR CHOICE, PECANS, SLICED ALMONDS, WHATEVER NUTS YOUR FAMILY LIKES.

Add 4 shakes Tabasco sauce
You can roll this in nuts or bacos, I use saran wrap.

1 small Jar roka bleu cheese
1/2 C. sour cream
2 pks. cream cheese
Mix first 3 ingredients
Add 4 shakes Tabasco sauce
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
dash of cayenne pepper
dash of salt
1 t. lemon juice
8 oz. Sharp cheddar cheese
4 shakes garlic powder
onion powder to taste
Will make 1-2# or 2-1# ballsMay be frozen.
I make this for Christmas presents. Wrap in alum. foil & tie with curling ribbon & stick in freezer.

2 cream cheese (8 oz)
1 package of chipped beef chopped up
minced nuts of your choice
minced green onions
T worst. sauce

mix up all but nuts, wrap in a ball in some saran wrap, then when youve got it round, roll in the nuts, re wrap in some more saran wrap and refridgerate till solid..... mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Cheese Ball I

Cut into small cubes:

  • 1/2 lb. American cheese
  • 1/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
Add:
  • 2-4 oz. Bleu cheese

Let stand 2 hours at room temperature. Cream together:

  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T sweet pickle relish
  • 1 T. finely chopped onion

Combine with softened cheese chunks. Place in small bowl, cover with waxed paper and refrigerate about 6 hours. When aged, roll into a ball. On a bread board combine 1/2 C. finely chopped pecans and 1/2 C. chopped parsley. Roll cheese ball in mixture to cover. Serve with crackers. Keeps about 2 weeks in refrigerator. Serves about 25

Cheese Ball II

This recipe serves 32.

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (1 ounce) package Ranch-style dressing mix
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 4 pecan halves

In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and dressing mix. Form into one large ball or two smaller balls. Roll in chopped pecans to coat surface. Decorate the top with pecan halves. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

Cheese Ball III

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Dried parsley flakes
  • Chopped pecans, optional
  • Bacon bits, optional

Combine all ingredients and chill well. Shape into roll or a ball. Then roll into chopped pecans or bacon bits and dried parsley.
