Adopting Older Cats |
|
|
There are many older cats (over 6) at shelters looking for a good home. They are older and wiser, but often free. if you can give a cat a good home don't just look at the kittens!

RE: Adopting Older Cats
Pasadena, CA, has a special program for very low adoption fees when seniors adopt senior pets (5y+), made possible by a special endowment. How cool.
RE: Adopting Older Cats
I have always adopted older cats and dogs, they make a wonderful addition to the family. Another bonus is they are already neutered or spayed.

RE: Adopting Older Cats
Thanks for pointing this out! Busy people won't have to take time to train a new pet. For us older or disabled people an older pet just makes sense - we can be slow together - ha ha :o))))) (((((((hugs)))))))
