Craft Project: Easy Christmas Centerpiece

Easy Christmas Centerpiece

Easy Christmas Centerpiece

Here is an easy way to dress up your dining-room table for the holidays!

Approximate Time: 10 minutes

Supplies:

  • discarded box
  • craft foam
  • artificial flowers/greenery
  • Christmas paper
  • Christmas ribbon

Instructions:

Centerpiece1_150x115.jpg Take an empty box (I used a shoebox, see photo) and cut a square in top to accommodate a piece of floral craft foam. Wrap the box in pretty Christmas paper, cutting out square in top of box again to insert foam. Tape Christmas ribbon around box.

Insert piece of craft foam (see photo, I cut my first hole too large, and had to use pieces to fit snugly). Centerpiece2_150x113.jpg Then, using 97 cent Christmas poinsettas and some Dollar Tree pieces of fake cedar garland, arrange your centerpiece! I have used these as centerpieces for our Church Christmas Banquet for each table, and the cost is very nominal, as I purchased flowers, ribbon, wrap, and greenery at the Dollar store!

So simply but so very effective!! I will definately be using your idea! So, who needs expensive vases when this idea is much more effective! One can use the appropriate wrapping paper for the relevant occassion. Thank you and God bless.

What a fantastic idea. One can also make one from fake flowers to display all year round. This is such a thrifty idea. Thanks
