Utensils on the Counter
To maximize kitchen drawer space, put flat wear in matching or eclectic decorative mugs on countertops, leaving an extra drawer free, and keeping your flat wear handy for constant use. A cut down gatorade bottle (soak off the label) makes a nice holder as well.

That's a great idea! But I have small ceramic pitchers, that I don't need, so I use those instead. Also, if you have large pieces like, spoons, spatulas, and turners, etc. I use the plastic tea pitchers for those. I bought a couple at Wal-Mart to use. I paid $2.50 for them.
