This is a tip train!

Feel free to add to it!

Use Bag Balm on the dogs feet pads, to protect against salt in the winter time and the winter dryness of the pads.

The pads of socks can be cut off to make leg warmers.

Warmness is great! But it can dry the air. Put lots of dishes of water by the vents to help the heater turn them into moisture in the air. They do not have to be by the vent. About eight or ten will do the trick.

One trick to have highlights in brunette hair is to spray with vanilla and water spray. Pour a couple of capfuls of vanilla into a small spray bottle. If you can not smell the vanilla, you have not sprayed enough.

The fun of typing is that it increases your skills. Do the typing test at this link: http://blackdog4kids.com/games/word/typing.html or http://www.coolbreeze.co.uk/guide/games/typing%20test/

http://www.Poetry.com has a contest for writing poetry out of tiles of words. They pick a winner every day, this is such an addicting pursuit. It is poetry in motion, and I love it, you should try it!

The fun thing about the time between Christmas and new years is that you can make hand made decorations for next year. Playdough, paper beads rolled up and colored and glued together. I use little strips of paper and roll them up around a string...takes practice, then glue with elmers and color. These make excellent decorations.

The bags that gifts come in have extra strong paper, these can be recycled into wrapping paper for next year, rolled up tied with a string and stored in a plastic bag for next years use.
