Crock Pot Potatoes
Crock Pot Potatoes I
Ingredients:
2 Cans Cheddar Cheese Soup
1 (1 Lb) Pkg Hash Browns
1 Sm Can Durkee Onion Rings
1 Can Condensed Milk
Directions:
Mix together and cook in crockpot on high for about 3 hours or until potatoes are cooked.

Crock Pot Potatoes II
Ingredients
2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 soup can of milk
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions
Cook in crock pot on low for 8-10 hours. Stir occasionally. Top with French fried onions before serving.

A synonym for evaporated milk is "condensed milk." If a recipe calls for sweetened condensed milk, it should say sweetened - so the questions are correct, just a matter of interpretation. To clarify the original recipe, yes, you should use evaporated milk.
