Now is the season for outdoor parties, graduations, etc, instead of using paper tablecloths. Use shower curtains from the dollar store. They come in all colors, and are large enough to put on any table. They're waterproof so if anything is spilled, it can be just mopped up, and they can be used again!

I use them too for yard sales, as covers in case of quick rainfall.

  • Tip: Shower Curtains As Tablecloths (05/29/2009)
I seem to go through many tablecloths throughout the year, from stains to seasonal changes to holiday fashions. I've found that if I take a simple Dollar Store shower curtain, I can decorate them to fit different themes.

Tip: Shower Curtains As Tablecloths

Archived on 05/29/2009

I seem to go through many tablecloths throughout the year, from stains to seasonal changes to holiday fashions. I've found that if I take a simple Dollar Store shower curtain, I can decorate them to fit different themes. I have actually glued on assorted items on the trim of my new table decor and have even let the children use permanent markers for making a "Birthday" table cloth. The best part is when I take it out of the storage box for the next reason, it's already decorated and the memories are fun!
