I have the same problem and what I was thinking of doing is just inviting them both. Tell them that you both are my friends and you have to deal with it. Your two friends may not talk to each other for a while but they will get use to the fact. Good luck

I have the same problem, and my friends are in their 50's. I keep them apart; different friends, different days, different moods. Best you can hope for. Some people just don't get along. Good luck.

Tell your friends the best gift they can give you is to come to the party and make the best of it. It's your day - not theirs!

Since it is YOUR birthday, make it your birthday wish that they get along for one day- your birthday. Tell them you do not want to hear or see any fighting or bad mouthing. Say if you are really my friends, you can do this for me.
