Since it is YOUR birthday, make it your birthday wish that they get along for one day- your birthday. Tell them you do not want to hear or see any fighting or bad mouthing. Say if you are really my friends, you can do this for me.

I have the same problem, and my friends are in their 50's. I keep them apart; different friends, different days, different moods.

I have the same problem but I still don't know how to fix it and it really sucks.

I have the same problem and what I was thinking of doing is just inviting them both. Tell them that you both are my friends and you have to deal with it. Your two friends may not talk to each other for a while but they will get use to the fact. Good luck
