Ingredients
- 5 medium apples, sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 pie shell (9 inch), unbaked
- butter
Topping:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Mix apples, sugar and seasonings. Pour into pie shell, and dot with butter. Cover with following topping.
For Topping: Mix flour, sugar and butter until crumbly. Add pecans. Heap topping on pie, and bake at 425 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until browned.
