How do I take lettering off a pair of sweat pants? The lettering is white and it looks like it's glue. I tried taking it of by scratching it with a safety pin, but it doesn't work?

I had the same problem. I simply took a permanent black marker and "colored" over the lettering. If you look real close, you can still see a shadow of the lettering, but even after laundering numerous times, the sweat pants still look great!
