I use mardi gras beads instead of garland. It makes a pretty tree.

Tip: Use Costume Jewelry to Decorate for Christmas

Try tucking in some of your costume jewelry on your tree when you decorate it this next Christmas. You can drape bracelets and necklaces about the branches and even clip earrings onto the branches. The sparkle of the jewelry really shows up against the lights and adds a special touch that others are certain to notice.
