I love all of your recipes and would like to thank you for your time and energy that goes into these. I am looking for a recipe from a local Chinese restaurant. It is called Orange Rice (here) but I do not know the true name. It consists of a mixture of rice, sugar, orange, and (???). All of this is placed inside a hollowed-out orange half. Anyone familiar with this? Thanks.
Here ya go:
1 cup converted rice
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
Combine rice, chicken broth, OJ, butter, s/p in a medium saucepan; bring to boil, lower heat, cover and cook until rice is tender about 20 minutes.
