Brown sausage and drain. Melt cheese in double boiler and blend in sausage, plus other ingredients. Spread on small party rye bread. Place in a single layer on a cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen, put in a bag. Can be kept for up to 6 months. When ready to use, place as many as needed on a cookie sheet and have oven at 400 degrees F. Bake 5 minutes and serve. Make extras as they go fast.
This is a wonderful idea! I'm always struggling to find quick things to put in the freezer for mornings, snacks, etc on the run. My husband could grab one on his way out the door to work. Thanks for this great suggestion!

I think this would be a good one to try during the superbowl. Sounds easy and quick. Not a lot of ingredients which I like. The prep sounds easy, too. Thanks

I like the combination of this sandwich. It sounds like a great idea for brunch. I also like the fact that the person added the fact it can be frozen and how to serve it from the freezer. Great!!!

This sounds like a hearty, fun meal. It's a combination that will fit my husband to the "T"!!!! I liked the fact that you can freeze it and reheat it to use anytime. Thanks.
