Losing jewelry in a sink always provokes a gasp and leaves a feeling of helplessness. Yet, to easily overcome this situation all you need are slip joint pliers, a lighted screwdriver with an extending magnet, and fifteen minutes of your time.

If extending the magnet on the lighted screwdriver down the drain doesn’t work, the next step of removing the pipe trap below the counter is far from difficult. Always remember not to over-tighten the pipe and to check for leaks after the job is done!

Congratulations! You just did it yourself!
