Ingredients
2 sticks butter (not margarine)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. water
Directions
Put all in pot on stove and cook on medium until mixture turns to the color of peanut butter. Stirring constantly. I put the jar of peanut butter on the counter by the stove. When it becomes that color, pour into buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. You may melt chocolate almond butter and spread on top. Also, may sprinkle chopped pecans on chocolate. Cool until hardened and break into pieces. This is a very good candy and perfect for gift giving.
