Shopping As A Job |
|
|
If shopping is your thing and you're looking for a part time or full time job.. You might consider shopping for others. There's always people who can't get out and shop like they'd like to, for health reasons. There's people that simply do not have the time to shop. Neighbors, bachelors, friends that have too much going on and can't find the time to shop, or simply people who just do not like crowds, whether it be for groceries or clothing or gifts. Run an eye catching ad in your local newspaper. Put up some flyers at the grocery, or at the park.

RE: Shopping As A Job
Every once in a while, in our local classified ads, there's an ad for "Mystery Shoppers Needed!" watch for them in your newspapers. Better yet, have your friends and family also watch for you, in their newspapers, as well.
About shopping for others, I'd put up notices at any business that might happen to have a bulletin board, that I'd like to do errands or shopping for others, who can't or don't want to. Cut the bottom of the paper like fringe & put your phone number on each piece, so that anyone interested in your shopping expertise can tear off your phone number & call you at their convenience. Best of luck!

Secret shoppers also make money. I used to secret shop for Ryans Steakhouse. You would get the price of the meal for you and your guest refunded and a 10.00 check. All you had to do is remember the names of the servers etc and grade them and the cleanliness of the restaurant and rest rooms. You filled out a form sent it in and within 2 weeks a check came in the mail. Its all about quality control.

How would one go about finding out how much to charge for these kind of services? We have no one in our area doing this kind of thing as far as adds in the local newspaper.
