Removing Poster Paint from Skin

How do I get poster/finger paint off my toddler's hands? She was at preschool today, and her hands are stained blue up to her elbows?

I would try cold cream. I would also advise the pre school that THEY should 'clean up' the children before sending them home.. I know that I would be upset picking up a blue baby.....
